- How long does installation take?
- Most wall beds are installed in 3–5 hours by our professional team. You'll have a fully functional bed the same day.
- Do I need to buy a special mattress?
- No. Our mechanisms support any standard mattress up to 30 cm (12 inches) thick — memory foam, hybrid, pocket spring, or latex.
- How safe are wall beds? Can they fall?
- Our beds are anchored to wall studs using heavy-duty fixings and comply with European safety standard EN1129. The gas piston mechanism holds the bed securely in both open and closed positions.
- What wall types can you install into?
- We install into solid concrete/brick walls, timber stud walls, and metal stud walls. Our surveyors confirm the right fixing method during your free consultation.
- Can I assemble a wall bed myself?
- We strongly advise against DIY installation. Improper wall anchoring is a safety risk and may void your guarantee. Professional installation is included in every Wallbeds purchase.
- How long does the guarantee last?
- The gas piston mechanism carries a 20-year guarantee. Cabinet woodwork is guaranteed for 5 years. Full terms available on request.
- Is there a showroom I can visit?
- Yes. Visit our showroom to see and operate the mechanisms in person before you buy. Check the Showroom page for opening hours and address.
- How much does a wall bed cost?
- Prices vary depending on size, finish and configuration. The best way to get an accurate quote is via our free design consultation — we'll discuss your space and budget with no obligation.
